Consumer Unit, or big fuse box in simple terms. This is where the 240V hook up comes in to, and goes into a RCD.
Then any mains circuits will attach in here too, in to a MCB to protect the circuit. I've attached a cable into it on the photos below, but this may be just for testing purposes as will be needing a longer cable on for the ring main.
