So as I had my nice new shiny Smev hob & sink, I wanted a nice worktop for it to sit on.
I'd been looking at some in B&Q, and they were a bit pricey for the size I wanted (approx 1220 x 550mm) going from about £40 - £100.
I had thought about going for a bit of hardboard, and just covering it with Fablon or similar product, so I went to B&Q to pick it up yesterday.
As I was in there, I took a look at their worktops and came across the off-cuts section, and happened to find a perfect bit of THIS which was 1225 x 600mm so was ideal for my needs.
I paid a grand total of £8 for this bit, bargain as the 1800mm length of it retails for £142!!
