I actually did this job about 2 months ago, but never uploaded the blog as was wanting to wait till I had done the kitchen sink waste also.
But I haven't done that yet, it's pretty much a next week job, so anyway here is a simple overview of what I did as it was fairly straight forward.
Firstly, attached the drainer to the shower base, and marked out on the ply floor where the hole was to go.
I had bought a decent hole saw for this job, as the previous ones I used for the gas vents were rubbish. So as you can see in the pic below, that is how many surfaces I had to cut through with it.. which gave me a decent hole...

So with all that done, it was just a case of connecting up the waste pipe to the shower base... job done
Next up was to seal the shower up.. which brings me back to todays job...
